BAYCREST THERMAL LODGE, Taupo

Baycrest Thermal Lodge features king studio suites and one-bedroom apartments. Ground floor king studios and one-bedroom apartments include a private thermal tub. First floor apartments have a spa bath and a balcony with views of Lake Taupo. Each room has a kitchenette, TV, and Sky TV Channels. Bathrooms include corner champagne spa baths. Air conditioning and thermal underfloor heating are available. Some suites include a smart TV, panoramic views of Lake Taupo, and a private balcony. Select suites include private outdoor geothermal hot tubs.

Guests can use geothermal water from the natural spring, pumped from 40 meters below the lodge. The water temperature is approximately 50 degrees Celsius. The lodge has a thermally heated swimming pool. An attached cabana provides cold drinks and ice, using an honesty box system. Two dedicated Type 1 and Type 2 EV charging stations are available for guest use at no charge.
